Edward Sanchez is a Colombian-American multi-instrumentalist and lyricist who has played lead guitar (requinto) for a variety of Latin-American folk bands.
His main instrument the requinto, which is born out the classic 1940s Mexican Trio Los Panchos formed out of New York, has taken him through international stages with renowned bands/artists such as Los Tri-o, Charlie Zaa, Los 50 De Joselito, Maria Isabel Saavedra, Victor Hugo Ayala, Alci Acosta, Alzáte & Johnny Rivera just to name a few.
His local band Trio Los Clasicos, has been entertaining and serenading South Florida audiences for many years as well as through his solo requinto/guitar & vocal performances
